Business development
Winning new business, and running the business you have well.

We don’t just solve problems; we find solutions. We help you work out how to approach new clients, and how to explain what you offer so they understand it quickly. I find the gap in a plan before anyone has named it.
We look at how your systems really work, not how they’re written down, find where they’re losing time, money or customers, and streamline them, with the integrity and compliance checks that keep them running. Then we train the people who run them, so the improvement lasts after we’ve gone.
Using AI tools, I also design and build the systems a small business runs on, such as records, invoicing and client onboarding. Our own records and invoicing were built that way, and so was this site.

A UK charity that relied on donations wanted to fund its work from trading instead. I designed a group structure to let it do that within charity law: a holding company owned by the charity, with trading companies beneath it. I checked the design against the Charity Commission’s guidance line by line, and set out nine conditions for the trustees’ vote. The trustees received the proposal and the decision they would vote on, in plain English; the governance rules; a compliance briefing; the process for taking outside investment; and a report on how the plan could fail and the checks that would catch it early. Their solicitor and accountant each received the exact questions only they can answer.

I don’t make your decision for you. I give you the options, what each one risks, and the questions your advisers need to answer, so the decision is quick and it’s yours.
